Haile Gebreselassie
From a farmer, to a world champion, and now a business man Haile Gebreselassie, goes back to his roots to pursue farming and agriculture.
Haile grew up practicing all the principles of farming, working on planting, growing and harvesting crops year round.Haile is now a 2-time Olympic champion, 9-time international Marathon winner, 9-time indoor and outdoor world champion, and broke 27 records that range from the 1500m to the marathon.
Now after gaining success in the world of athleticism, Haile has returned to farming and building communities around agriculture.Haile specialty organic coffee farm rests on the UNESCO recognized biosphere reserve of Masha forest.

How it started
HAILE COFFEE™
Haile Coffee was started by the greatest long-distance runner, Haile Gebreselassie. Growing up in a farm in Ethiopia, Haile had seen the value of agriculture, and especially coffee, to the country and its people. Our coffee is grown with his three principals of success: hard work, discipline and commitment. We make sure to always integrate these principles into our entire line of production.
Our core values also follow his beliefs of respect for the whole of the natural environment on which we depend as we work to conserve the planet.
